Files

• Tools marked “Runs on your device” process files in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share a result or save it to a cloud drive.
• Server tools receive your files over an encrypted connection and delete inputs and outputs 2 hours after the task finishes. You can delete them sooner with Delete now.
• Protect, Unlock and Redact delete their inputs right after processing.
• File contents are never logged, inspected by staff or used to train models. Support can access a task's files only if you allow it on the feedback form, for 7 days.

Cookies and tracking

We don't show ads and we don't use third-party trackers. We only set necessary cookies: your session, a guest id that counts free tasks, a security token, your language and interface preferences. See Cookies.

Subprocessors

Hosting, email delivery, payments, and — only for AI tools — an AI provider that receives the text of your PDF for one request and doesn't store it or use it for training. Cloud providers are involved only when you connect them.

Data on this device

To remember recent tools, presets, recent results and unfinished work, PDFDaily stores data in your browser for up to 2 hours (presets until you remove them). You can remove it at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your account data or its deletion at any time from your account, or by contacting us.
