Why convert a PDF to WEBP?
Converting a PDF to WEBP gives you page images that are small enough to put on a website without slowing it down. Use it to show brochures, menus, flyers or report pages as pictures in a web page, a blog post or a product listing.
How do I get small but sharp WEBP images?
For small, sharp WEBP files, start with 150 dpi and Recommended quality, then adjust. Lower the resolution for thumbnails, or choose High quality for pages with fine print. You can also convert pages to grayscale or black and white.
What if I need another format?
If a site or app does not accept WEBP, convert the same PDF with PDF to JPG or PDF to PNG. To keep the document as a smaller PDF instead, use Compress PDF.
Your files are deleted automatically after 2 hours.
Frequently asked questions
What is a WEBP file?
WEBP is an image format made for the web that usually gives smaller files than JPG or PNG at similar visual quality. All modern browsers display it.
Why convert a PDF to WEBP instead of JPG?
Because smaller WEBP images make web pages load faster. Choose JPG instead if the image has to open in older software that does not support WEBP.
Can I choose the WEBP quality?
Yes. Choose Normal, Recommended or High quality. Higher quality keeps more detail but makes larger files.
What resolution should I use for web images?
150 dpi suits most web pages and screens. Use 72 dpi for small previews, or 300 dpi if visitors need to zoom into fine detail.
What happens to my files after converting to WEBP?
They are processed on our servers, encrypted in transit, and deleted automatically after 2 hours. You can also delete them right away from the result screen.
Is PDF to WEBP free?
Yes, within the free limits. File size, page count and tasks per day depend on your plan; the exact limits are shown on the page before you upload anything, and a free account raises them.
