What can Excel to PDF do?
- Works with XLS, XLSX, XLSM, XLSB, ODS and CSV files.

- Force landscape or portrait, or keep the page setup saved in the file.

How do I convert Excel to PDF?
To convert Excel to PDF, add your XLSX or XLS file, choose which sheets to include and how they fit on the page, then select Convert to PDF. By default the PDF follows the page setup saved in the workbook, and you can override it without opening the file again.
How do I fit an Excel sheet on one PDF page?
Choose Each sheet on one page under Fit to page and each worksheet is scaled to a single PDF page. For long sheets, Fit columns to page width is usually better: every column fits across the page and rows flow onto as many pages as needed. Switch Orientation to Landscape for wide tables, and we warn you if the text ends up very small.
What else can I do with the PDF?
You can merge several workbooks into one PDF under More options, then number the pages with Add page numbers. To pull a table out of a PDF and back into a spreadsheet, use PDF to Excel.
Frequently asked questions
How do I fit an Excel sheet on one PDF page?
Set Fit to page to Each sheet on one page and every sheet is scaled to fit a single PDF page. If the text gets too small, choose Fit columns to page width instead, which keeps all columns on the page and lets rows continue onto the next page.
Why is the text small in my PDF?
The sheet was scaled down to fit the page. Choose As set in the file, or switch Orientation to Landscape, to keep the text larger.
Can I convert only one sheet?
Yes. Under Sheets, choose Active sheet only. All sheets is the default, and empty sheets are skipped.
Do formulas and charts survive?
The PDF shows the calculated values and the charts as they are drawn in the spreadsheet. Formulas are not kept, because a PDF is not a spreadsheet.
Can I convert XLS and ODS files?
Yes. XLSX, XLS, XLSM, XLSB, ODS and CSV files are all accepted.
Are my spreadsheets deleted after converting?
Yes. They are deleted from our servers automatically after 2 hours, and you can delete them straight away from the result screen. Files are encrypted in transit.
