What can Extract pages do?

  • Runs in your browser: your files never leave your device.
  • Select by clicking thumbnails or by typing a page range.
  • Quick picks for all odd pages or all even pages.
  • Get one PDF, or one PDF per page.
  • Keep document order, or use the order in which you selected the pages.
  • Option to keep bookmarks for the extracted pages.

How do I extract pages from a PDF without uploading it?

Extract pages builds a new PDF from the pages you pick, right in your browser, so the file is never uploaded. It is the quickest way to share one section of a long document.

How do I select the pages to extract?

Click page thumbnails to select pages visually, or type a range such as 1-4, 8, 10-. An open range like 10- runs to the last page. Buttons for all odd and all even pages help with double-sided scans.

What output options are there?

By default Extract pages saves one PDF with the pages in document order. You can instead keep the order of your clicks, or produce one PDF per page. If your file has bookmarks, those that point to the extracted pages are kept.

To remove a few pages and keep the rest, use Delete pages. To cut the whole document into parts, use Split PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can I save just some pages of a PDF?

Yes. Select the pages you want in Extract pages and they are saved as a new PDF. Your original file stays as it is.

How do I extract pages in a different order?

Choose selection order instead of document order, then click the pages in the order you want.

Can I extract each page as a separate PDF?

Yes. Choose one PDF per page and you get a ZIP of single-page files.

Are bookmarks kept when I extract pages?

Yes, by default. Bookmarks that point to extracted pages are carried over, and you can turn this off.

Is it safe to extract pages from a confidential PDF?

Yes. Extract pages runs in your browser, so the file stays on your device and is not uploaded unless you choose to share the result or save it to a cloud drive.

What are the free limits?

Files up to 200 MB each and up to 50 files per task, with no daily limit. Premium raises the limits.
