Frequently asked questions
What is a HEIC file?
HEIC is the photo format iPhones and iPads save in by default, a version of HEIF (High Efficiency Image File Format). It keeps photos small, but many apps and websites cannot open it, which is why a PDF is easier to share.
Do I need to convert HEIC to JPG before making a PDF?
No. HEIC to PDF reads HEIC photos directly, so you can add them as they come off your iPhone.
Can I convert HEIF files to PDF?
Yes. HEIF and HEIC files are both accepted.
How do I put several iPhone photos into one PDF?
Add all the photos at once and keep Merge all images into one PDF turned on. Drag the cards to set the page order.
Will my iPhone photos be the right way up?
Yes. Each photo is turned upright using the orientation stored in it, and you can rotate any card before converting.
Are my photos deleted after converting?
Yes. They are deleted from our servers automatically after 2 hours, and you can delete them straight away from the result screen. Files are encrypted in transit.
