How do I convert an image to PDF?
To convert an image to PDF, add one or more pictures, drag them into order and select Convert to PDF; each picture becomes a page of one PDF. Choose portrait, landscape or automatic orientation, and no, small or large margins.
Can I convert photos from my phone to PDF?
Yes, Image to PDF accepts HEIC photos from an iPhone or iPad as well as JPG photos from Android phones, and turns each photo upright using its EXIF orientation. For iPhone photos, see HEIC to PDF.
How do I make a picture of a document searchable?
Tick Make text searchable (OCR) under More options before converting, and English text in photographed pages becomes searchable. For other languages, convert first and then run the PDF through OCR PDF, which recognises over 100 languages.

Which image formats can I convert to PDF?
JPG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, WEBP, TIFF, GIF, BMP and AVIF images are all supported. You can mix formats in one PDF.
How do I put multiple pictures into one PDF?
Add all the pictures at once and keep Merge all images into one PDF turned on. Drag the cards to set the page order.
Can I convert a photo to PDF without losing quality?
Yes. JPEG photos are embedded without recompression and other formats are converted at high quality. Very large images are capped at 300 dpi for the page size, which you can turn off.
Can I choose the page size?
Yes. Pick A4, US Letter, A3, A5, Legal, a custom size, or Fit to image so each page matches its picture.
What happens to an animated GIF?
Only the first frame of a GIF is used.
Is it safe to convert images to PDF online?
Your images are encrypted in transit and deleted from our servers automatically after 2 hours. You can also delete them straight away from the result screen.
