How do I convert PowerPoint to PDF?
To convert PowerPoint to PDF, add your PPTX or PPT file and select Convert to PDF; each slide becomes one page at the slide size of the presentation. You do not need PowerPoint installed, and you can convert several decks at once and merge them into one PDF.
How do I save PowerPoint as PDF with notes?
To include speaker notes, turn on Include speaker notes under More options; notes pages are added after the slides, which is handy for handouts and rehearsal copies. Hidden slides are left out unless you turn on Include hidden slides.
Why share slides as a PDF?
A PDF opens on any device without PowerPoint and cannot be changed by accident, so the deck looks the way you designed it. To print several slides on one sheet, use N-up PDF; to make a PDF deck editable again, use PDF to PowerPoint.
Frequently asked questions
How do I save PowerPoint as PDF with notes?
Turn on Include speaker notes under More options before converting. Notes pages are added after the slides.
Can I convert PPT as well as PPTX files?
Yes. PPTX, PPT, PPTM, PPS, PPSX, POT, POTX and OpenDocument ODP presentations are all accepted.
Will animations and videos work in the PDF?
No. A PDF is static, so animations show their final state and a video appears as a still frame.
Are hidden slides included?
Not by default. Turn on Include hidden slides under More options to add them.
Why do fonts look different in the PDF?
If your presentation uses a font we do not have, the closest installed font is used. Embedded and common fonts keep their look.
Are my presentations deleted after converting?
Yes. They are deleted from our servers automatically after 2 hours, and you can delete them straight away from the result screen. Files are encrypted in transit.
