What can Resize pages do?

  • Sizes: A1 to A6, Letter, Legal, Ledger, Tabloid, Executive, or a custom size.
  • Keep orientation, or force portrait or landscape.
  • Scale content to fit, or keep the original size centred on the new page.
  • Apply to all, odd or even pages, or a range.
  • Free for files up to 200 MB and up to 50 files, with no daily limit.

How do I change the page size of a PDF?

Resize pages changes the page size of a PDF to any size from A1 to A6, Letter, Legal, Ledger, Tabloid, Executive or a custom width and height. Common jobs include turning Letter into A4 before printing, or bringing mixed scans to one size.

Should I scale the content or keep its size?

Choose Scale to fit when the content should fill the new page, and Keep size, centred when you only want more paper around it. You can also keep each page's orientation, or make every page portrait or landscape.

Can I resize only some pages?

Yes: apply the change to all pages, odd pages only, even pages only or a range.

Text and vector graphics stay sharp because they are scaled, not re-rendered as images. The work runs in your browser. To add white space around the content without changing the page size, use Add margins to PDF; to trim the edges instead, use Crop PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resize a PDF to A4?

Choose A4 as the page size, keep Scale to fit selected and select Resize pages. Every page becomes A4, with the content scaled to fit.

Can I convert a PDF to Letter size?

Yes. Choose Letter as the page size and select Resize pages; A4 pages are scaled to fit US Letter.

What is the difference between Scale to fit and Keep size, centred?

Scale to fit enlarges or shrinks the content to fill the new page. Keep size, centred leaves the content as it is in the middle of the page, which may add white space or cut off the edges.

Can I set a custom page size?

Yes. Choose Custom and enter the width and height.

Does resizing a PDF reduce quality?

No. Text and vector content are scaled, not turned into images, so they stay sharp.

Are my files uploaded when I resize PDF pages?

No. This tool runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share the result or save it to a cloud drive.
